Warner Brothers’ The Invasion (2007) and BET’s Blackout (2008) are the latest films featuring Jeffrey Wright to hit DVD.

The Invasion starring Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig is a remake of 1956′s Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Jeffrey Wright plays Dr. Stephen Galeano, one of Ben Driscoll’s (Craig) colleagues. I own and I recommend it especially to fans of James Bond and Felix Leiter.

Blackout is a 2008 television film about the 2003 blackout in New York. It debuted on BET last month and is now available for purchase on DVD. I’ve yet to see this but it’s on my list of DVDs to get.
