According to the Internet Movie Database (IMDb), Jeffrey Wright is signed to star in One Blood, a drama currently in production. It’s written and directed by Martin Duffy and is allegedly going to be released this year. I can’t find any other sources of information on this film so I wonder if it’s one of IMDb’s many erroneous entries? IMDb is a great resource for information on released films but it is often wrong regarding upcoming films, unfortunately.

Dan Clark [Wright], a career-driven, mixed-race American working in the world of high finance, is a man on the move in his chosen home town, Manhattan. He keeps himself too busy to think about family, tradition – or the truth about himself. Everything changes when a family death obliges him to spend time in Belfast. There, he is suddenly confronted with issues of racism and sectarianism. Most of all, however, he is confronted with the past he has been running away from. The film is fast paced, edgy and often humorous. This is a contemporary story with international appeal.
