A few days ago, Penguin 007 was upgraded from a simple Devil May Care countdown to a new flash site dedicated to Devil May Care as well as everything else Penguin has in store for Ian Fleming’s centenary (May 28, 2008) which has its own updated site, IanFlemingCentenary.com.

Penguin 007 now contains biographies of Ian Fleming and Sebastian Faulks (author of the upcoming Devil May Care), news articles, information on the three different editions of Fleming’s 14 Bond novels (Centenary Edition Hardbacks, Modern Classics and Penguin Paperbacks) available in 2008, a link to the Devil May Care MySpace profile as well as the old countdown.

I generally like flash sites and this one is full screen as opposed to the crappy one at 007.com which is merely a small box.

Getting a better cover than the UK is an achievement for the United States because we always seem to get stiffed in some way when it comes to new Bond novels.
