The following excerpt is a disappointing revelation from IGN’s brand new article, “The Secrets of Quantum of Solace” by our friend, Stax.
“His role’s been going up and down right now,” Wilson said of Wright’s Leiter. “I would’ve liked it to have been a little bigger but right now we just don’t have the space in the story for it.”
It’s unclear how many Leiter scenes have been cut but this is a blow to many Jeffrey Wright/Felix Leiter fans (like myself) who were hoping he would have a significantly larger role in Quantum of Solace. I still think he’ll have more screen time than he did in Casino Royale but it probably won’t be much more. What a shame…

Poor guy. In the Sean Connery era All the Men From Jack Lord to Cec Linder had big parts. With David Hedison who is a great friend of Roger had a big part too. John Terry it was the first time with a short part in Living Daylight in 1987 with the debut Timothy Dalton as James Bond 007. In Casino Royale it not little or big part just Medium. Jeffrey Wright had work with Daniel Craig in another movie “The Invision.

Yeah a shame but not worth it if expanding the role compromises the film’s story.

That blows.
More Felix couldn’t hurt a thing, IMO. This film had better be 8 shades of awesome now that Felix gets less screen time.
