Although I only met Cubby Broccoli a few times on the set he was always very kind. I remember when I returned for my second Bond film [Octopussy] he said to me, “It’s nice to have you back again, Jeremy.” With all the hundreds of people involved with the films, I was quite amazed that he should take the time chatting with me. I have very fond memories of my short time filming the Bond movies and the atmosphere on set was great. Barbara Broccoli has continued in her father’s footsteps and that is why the Bond films remain so popular.
